Contemplatives and Missionaries of the Trinitarian love of Christ
Our Foundress, Mother María de Jesús Velarde, was the instrument chosen by God to lead our Congregation along the path of sanctity that the Church ratified on the 25th of December, with the approval of our Constitutions. On March 9, 2021, she returned to the bosom of God the Father with a life filled with good works and an exemplary death, full of peace and of grace.
- Our Charism takes into account the following four aspects:
- Spirituality:
That of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We offer adoration, love and reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, especially in the Eucharist, in union with Mary, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. - Mission:
As fruit of our contemplative prayer we are missionaries of the Trinitarian Love of God revealed in Christ, in our apostolic works. - Apostolate:
We are opened to all stable apostolates that do not hinder a strong community life and it is two most important manifestations: prayer and the relationship among ourselves as expressed in our Constitutions and Directory. - Our mission statement:
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved everywhere
